Now that you know what products are selling like crazy on Clickbank, it’s time to head over to the vendor’s sales pages. Sure, if you really wanted to go deep with your research, you could buy the e-book and see for yourself what it covers.
But that’s time-consuming (and costs money).
Instead, all you have to do is read the sales page, which generally outlines all the main points you’ll find in the ebook. It’s like reading a cheat sheet.
Plus the people with the hottest-selling products probably researched their market ahead of time, so they know what their market wants – and chances are these sellers hammered on these benefits in their sales letter.
While you’re reading the sales pages, take note of what benefits the sellers seem to be focusing on (e.g., those that appear in the headlines and sub-headlines).
You’ll want to ensure your product offers these benefits too.
Do you know how to find a profitable niche easily?You no longer need to sweat and do all the hard labor of market research, because it’s already been done for you and you don’t have to spend one shiny penny to get your hands on this extremely valuable information. All you have to do is head over to the ClickBank.com marketplace and browse the top-selling products in your category.
ClickBank ranks products in each category according to popularity. That means that the more a product is selling, the higher it will appear on the list (e.g., the first product in each category is the best-selling product).
That piece of information alone will give you an idea of what’s hot. You may even see similar products all fighting for the top rankings in the same category. That confirms that those products do indeed have buyers.
Another bit of information that Clickbank gives you is the “gravity” of a product. Basically the gravity gives you an idea of how many unique and active affiliates are selling the product. More recent sales are given more weight. Sales older than eight weeks aren’t counted at all.
Basically you can figure that the higher the gravity, the more affiliates there are selling the product. As a generalization, if you see plenty of active affiliates, you can figure this is indeed a product with a hungry market.
Before you leave Clickbank, you’ll also want to take note of some of the other data. For example, look at the “earned per sale” amount, which takes into account how much affiliates earn after refunds are calculated. If this varies drastically from the actual commissions affiliates earn, then you can figure they have a high refund rate.
If all similar products have high refund rates, see if you can figure out why. Is the market full of scammers? Are the products shoddy? Are the sales pages promising the world and not delivering? Bottom line is you want to give your best guess as to the high refund rate so that you don’t make the same mistake.

If you look at the subsets of weight loss you could come up with: reduce belly fat, weight loss for teenagers, weight loss for children, weight loss foods etc
When you look closer, each of the subsets I listed could further be categorized into smaller groupings. A weight loss for teenagers can be categorized into weight loss exercises for teenagers, weight loss meals for teenagers, weight loss pills for teenagers etc From the example let’s redefine niche marketing:
Niche marketing it is taking a broader market, and working within a smaller, more definable niche within that market. A niche marketer would look at a market and create a product, and essentially build a name, within this smaller marketplace. Usually this would entail creating products that differ enough from others in the marketplace so that they’re providing customers with something they can’t find from other sources within that niche.

This is the first step of effective niche research ..
Step #1 – Is Money already being spent in this niche?
It’s important that money is already being spent. I say: Put your product in front of the tidal wave of money That is already being spent online. There is no need inventing some market or creating some giant, eBay type site or service. First, keep it simple and provide a product to a hungry market where money is already being spent.
I check to see if money is already being spent. Is there Adwords for the specific keywords for this niche? If so, then there is probably money already being spent. I’ll check all the PPC avenues and see if there are ads on Yahoo, Google, Lycos, MSN, etc. If you don’t see Adwords ads running for the main keywords and phrases in this niche then it likely is not a good niche. Also if you don’t find products selling on Clickbank for this niche then it’s likely it’s not a good niche.
If you KNOW that your market already spends money on products and services then all you have to do is locate the buyers and expose them to your sales message.
